OK, so this should be a time for change and I intend it to be. Not only is it the start of a brand new decade but I'm also 18 now, officially and adult apparently (booo) but that's how it goes. So this brings me to the conclusion that I should probably use this time as an opportunity to really start sticking to my new years resolutions. Traditionally, I keep my resolutions for like a fortnight after new year then they all seem to go straight down the drain in quick succession of each other, but this year I'm gonna try my absolute best to keep them properly. So here goes...
...
1) Get a job (and keep it) - This was one of last years resolutions and it completely, point blank, failed! I'm gonna do it this year. First I need to get a decent CV but I WILL get a job this year if it's the last thing I do!!!
-
2) Daily Exercises - Due to the fact that I am on an extremely physical college course, this one shouldn't be too much of a stretch to be honest. The thing I do need to work on though is doing my exercises on my days off. We'll see how that one goes.
-
3) Eat more healthily - I'm generally quite healthy when it comes to my food anyway but I'm gonna try and get rid of the fizzy stuff and the junk food like McDee's. I've done quite well on cutting down on it over the past year so this year the challenge is to get rid of it completely. Paranoid about my teeth more than anything to be honest.
-
4) Be more spontaneous - I enjoyed my rather random trip to St.Andrew's with Jane in the summer so I'm thinking that more stuff like that should definitely be done.
-
5) Take more photos - Now this one is ridiculous because I already take a million pictures a day anyway but I always take them of stupid moments and can never remember what was happening in them so I want to try and take more photos of fun stuff like the aforementioned St.A's trip and people's birthdays and stuff.
-
6) Take more chances - I have a tendency to over think and over analyse things and talk myself out of sooo much so I'm gonna stop it.
-
OK so these actually aren't too ridiculous this year. There are only two of last years resolutions (http://tinyurl.com/09resolutions) that I actually kept - Get into college and eat healthier which weren't really that hard to keep to be honest. Really need to keep these ones this year.
Starting........NOW!
