I drove a car!

Eeee! I had my first driving lesson today. Scary stuff! Went up to Balmore Industrial Estate and drove around practicing moving off and parking. I only stalled once which was a miracle. Some git overtook me on a bend which was a twatty thing to do but hey. So yeh, I have officially been in charge of a car! Weird, so I have another lesson next week. It's groovy. So yeh, there's an update.

I felt the need to write a post

It is currently 25 minutes to midnight on a cold April night and I am on MSN with nothing in my head worth writing a post about but never the less here I am continuing to type. This may turn into something of interest, then again it may not. I vote for the latter. So, I'm on MSN, well Windows Live Messenger to be precise, but who really gives a hoot, talking to Jane one of my oldest and dearest friends. We don't really talk as such while on MSN, but we have excitable rants and chat about random stuff, for example right now focus is on the Edinburgh festival that we planned 10 minutes ago, so far we're there soaking up the sun whilst walking around admiring the hot guys with Saltire's painted on our faces :L I'm sure it'll get much MUCH better though lol. I have pins and needles in my foot :( OH! I don't literally have pins and needles stuck in my foot :S just the sensation due to a crap circulatory system :/ I guess that's not really a fortunate thing, hmm. Was teaching at the primary yesterday. Worst group EVER, who knew 6 year olds could be so uncooperative! Shocking :O I got another unconditional acceptance, this one's for North Glasgow although I think I've already written a post about that so you can just ignore the last sentence. Anyway, I'm desperately running out of things to talk about, I've written quite a lot considering this started off as a impulsive aimless rant about nothingness but hey hey that's the way it goes I guess :L Anyhoo shall see you later and I won't post until I have something decent to share.

Excitement :)

A few exciting things to report :L Ok so first, Apollo is doing West Side Story in October and then Aladdin for panto! Whoooo Hoooo! It's gonna be great, I have a sneaking feeling that panto will be a riot! :D Also Legally Blonde is finally coming to London, Sheridan Smith is Elle, I can only assume she'll be amazing because, well, she just is. Yey! :) and last but not least I have my first driving lesson on Wednesday, granted I am completely paranoid that I'll stall a million times, crash and generally break the car but I'm kind of looking forward to it at the same time :D So that's my excitement update, it's all going on. So now I'm going to make myself a cup of tea. I danced myself to death last night on an empty stomach, really not a clever thing to do. I find I'm not eating as much as normal, whether that's because we have nothing in to eat or the fact that i can't be bothered, I'm not too sure but I've actually had breakfast this morning so that's something. So to the kettle I go :)

Happy Birthday to Mum x

Well it was Mum's birthday today. She liked her prezzies :) phew, Dad got his sorted out yesterday. A Fujifilm digital camera, tis groovy. So we went to St Andrew's for the day, the weather was brilliant so it was a good day. The dog's completely worn out, I think that's the most exercise he's had in a long time :L Went to the beach for a while which was good. We've not been up there for ages! We used to go all the time when we were younger but we've stopped going in the past few years :( I like it, it's a great wee town.

We stopped at god-forsaken Crail on the way home. We seem to do this every time we go to St Andrew's. We stop off in Crail on the way back even though there's nothing there and it smells like fishy seaweed. I don't get it, it's a habit. Weird. It was sunny which I guess is an improvement from the norm. We went to Anstruther as well for a chippy but there were queues out the doors of all three so the words "stuff that" came to mind. Went to the Brewer's fair in Cumbersnekkie (Cumbernauld) on the way home, which was ok but I don't know that I'd like to go back. So now we're home and relaxing :) yey. Can't wait to drive so I can shoot up to St Andrew's any time I want with my maniac friends :L anyway, I'll write back later :)

Wow! A productive day!

Hmm, yesterday I actually did something. Went into town with my lovely friends Melissa and Aimee. Had to get my Mum's birthday prezzie so it was handy. That woman is so hard to buy for so I hope she likes her prezzies, shall report back when I know. I got her a wee cherry necklace with a watch in it, and some L'Occitane stuff coz I know she likes that (typical as it costs a fortune, but hey). So she'd better like it and I got her some gorgeous cards, even went all out on the gift bags and wrapping paper, all looks very nice, seems a shame to open it to be honest. So I've instructed Dad as to what to get her, hope she doesn't find out though :L Don't know what we're going to do on her birthday but we're gonna go for dinner at least. Need to get a cake.

Got caught by the benefit girls, so we each got a makeover :) Mine was so good, she used this new foundation stuff called 'Hello Flawless' and seriously, this stuff is amazing it's like an airbrush in a box. I want it. I did buy some stuff, got a couple of eye palettes and Coralista, and a free B Spot perfume. Loves it all, may see if I can get a job in there.

Anyhoo, so yeh that's was my day :)

Some of their mission are significantly better than others, Food Court Musical, Cell Phone Symphony and Look Up More are some of the best. Check out the MP3 Experiments as well. How these guys think up these things is beyond me but I think it's great. Incidentally this is my 30th post, woop!

Return to Apollo

Yey, I'm back at Apollo! Woop. I've missed it so much, can't wait to get back to it, it's weird not having anything to do on Wednesday nights. It was the auditions last night and it was great seeing everyone again :) The next show is a variety show held in the hall as a fundraising event. Can't wait, it should be good. So I thought I'd fill y'all in on my performing antics. Can't wait for Aladdin, it'll be amazing, woop! So that's that :)

Boredom is slowly taking it's toll. I've had a headache for the best part of 3 days, the weather's kinda naff so I can't go out and everyone is doing stuff :( Need to actually organise something. Gahhhh.

Wellll . . .

Today has been somewhat eventful :L HaHa. Up until about 1.30/2ish: boredom. Then we went bowling with Hollz. First we missed the bus so Dad ended up running us in, something he was trying to avoid doing. So we got to the bowling, I won both games! Woop? I think so :D We went to McDonald's the usual, then went for the bus, however because we live in the god forsaken village that is Torrance there's only one bus an hour, F.S. So Holly was saying that we were lazy and how come we didn't walk, so I suggested we walk home. Fine Fine all well and good, but me being the imbecile that I am forgot about the simple Main Road, Pavemented, Only one or two corners way and dragged Holly and Murray along the back road, HaHaHa. They were somewhat less than amused. After about half an hour of car dodging and finding sticks to whack potential rapists/abductors with, we got to a bridge and I was like 'Oh, this is the old railway, it'll be quicker if we go this way'. No, not. I was soooooo far off right. So we walked along this old overgrown railway for about 10 minutes only to find that it was in fact blocked off by 2 barbed wire fences (which put a hole in my good jeans) and a felled tree : unfun. So we had to trek all the way back along this bloody path to get back to the pavementless road. All in all I think it took us a grand total of an hour and 10 to get back home from Kirky (which is barely a 5 minute car journey away). Needless to say that neither Holly nor Murray were impressed by my fabulous decision making and navigational skills. Oops, sorry. But we got some good pics and it was a nice day and a great way to burn off the McDonalds :L But still, I don't think we'll be doing that again in a hurry :S HeeHee. Byeee x x

Well I have been accepted to Anniesland College :D Did my Dance audition on April 1st and I got my acceptance letter through today. Woop Woop :) Tis all good so that's one audition down, only 2/3 to go.

Hey Hey Hey, Melissa's here! Ha ha, we're in a slightly and collectively odd mood, listening to odd songs like the Gypsy Kings and Eddie Grant :L Wow! Some weird African Chant thing's just come on, not my choice, it's sample music that came with the laptop :) hee hee.

Been having a very random Video Call with Miss Holly Wilson (HEY HOLLY! Here's your shout out as promised!) So yeh, randomly posting, but I really don't know why. It's probably in your best interests to ignore this post altogether as it is being written in a moment of complete and utter madness :D Haha.

Can you believe this??? :O

The dog took the huff at being left at home today. He normally goes to work with my mum and dad but he got left with us today for whatever reason. So he was howling as he does when he gets left. Next thing Murray (my bro) comes in and says "guess what the dog's done!". He'd eaten an entire tub of Cadbury's Drinking chocolate powder! He's literally covered in it!

So I've just been down to get some food and he's emptied the freaking bin everywhere. The contents strewed all across the kitchen and under the table! It's ridiculous. If he's sick later, he deserves everything he gets! There was half a stir-fry in that bin, not a scrap remains. Stupid animal. The Evidence:

I am now reporting to you from my lovely new laptop. It's new and shiny and I like it :) Been faffing around with Photoshop, hee hee I actually finally have Photoshop. It's all goodly. I feel like I'll be having a lot of fun with this wee laptop. It's my new baby (along with my phone and digi cam) Loves them all. However, shock horror, it's NOT pink. I went for Pacific Blue, I feel very grown up and awesome :) Anyhoo, shall report back later, luv Y'all :P

Monday 6th April '09

WOOOOOO! Not only is it the holidays but today has been an exceptionally fun filled day. I say fun filled I mean filled. My laptop came at long last!!!! Woop, a lovely little Dell number that I've yet to figure out how to use, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually. I am writing to you from the comfort of Emma's bedroom. We're back from seeing LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS!!! A show that is very close to our hearts and holds great sentimental value to us :) OK, enough of spouting cheesyness. Basically if it wasn't for Little shop we wouldn't have met so we loves it :D The cast was AWEsome with a capital 'F', so much so, I want to go see it again. So now I'm staying over at Emskies coz we haven't seen each other in an eternity so it seems only fitting to have a wee catch up. So I shall be seeing you laterz (with a 'z').
