Prom Prep

Well my preperation for the S6 prom started today. I've finally ordered a dress!!! Yey, it's gorgeous, and surprisingly un-poofy. Now all I need is shoes and jewellery. It's exciting!! Can't wait. My Dress ->

It was Jane's birthday yesterday so she had a wee sleepover last night. It was such a laugh, it was just her, me, Erin and Caitlin but it was funny!!! We were playing this Mario game on the Wii and it literally went on forever! We only selected 15 turns but it was on for about an hour before we got bored of it, lol. We then watched Juno and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, neither of which I'd seen before yesterday but they were quite good. I swear there's something about that house that keeps me awake. Jane's are the only sleepovers where I stay awake all night. We were up 'til 6ish this morning, but fell asleep watching infomercials about the AbKing pro. The women advertising these things were like actual beasts!! Scary stuff. The fecking gritter came round at 4am which was weird, it was like 'Jees, don't you grit men have a life?'. But yeh, it was a good wee night and we all had fun.

Well I've started my volunteer work at the Primary again. I did it while I was at school but had to stop because of my knee. I started back today and I'm helping out with Friday Fun/Golden Time. Completely manic, but it's good, lol. Just thought I'd give a wee update on the subject.

Fame!!!

I should have written a post about this as soon as I got in but stupidly didn't, so I'm doing it now. Well I went to see Fame on Tuesday night with my Fame girlies, Melissa and Sammy. It was an AMAZING AMAZING show, I've never seen anything like it. I think it's possibly the best show ever, seriously. We had front row seats and they were fab, we were all up dancing at the end and I think the girl who plays Iris got a bit scared of us, we were so hyper. It was a fab night and we got pictures at the stage door after the show, with Holly James who played Carmen and (I think) Spin who played Tyrone. If it's not Spin then it's Scott Maurice who was in the ensemble (these guys can dance!!! :o )

Tis 2009!

Hi Guys, I can't believe it's 2009 already!!! Well I had a fabby holiday, it's good to be back though. I think 10 days is enough, especially where we were. Well I have things planned! Yey, tis all very exciting. I'm going to my very first Panto tomorrow with my best friend, Melissa. We're going to see The Wizard of Never Woz at Glasgow's Pavilion, yes I'm 17 and I've never been to a panto :( how sad. Then on Tuesday, me and my Fame girls, Melissa (again) and Sammy are going to see - Fame - believe it or not. So that should be a really good laugh. I was going to do South Pacific with the Apollo Players, I got through the auditions but I'm goin to concentrate on getting my knee back up to scratch (more about that in a bit...) so I'm now going to see Little Shop of Horrors with my Little Shop of Horror's huni, Emma (we met while doing that show 4 years ago, even though it feels like forever ago). Then I'm going to see Wicked (again) in May. It's my favourite show ever, I've seen it 3 times already (omigod) but this time all 4 of us are going down. Can't wait.

My knee, it's getting better. It's healed really well and I've got really good movement in it. I'm still doing my physio though. I'm really missing my dancing and want to get back as soon as possible : Need to catch up on my Highland as well. I'm getting my kilt! Yey, can't wait.

So now I've got to start looking for a job and college courses for next year. So I shall give an update on how that's going soon.
