Midnight Dog Drama

Well I was quite happily lying in my bed the other night, just dosing off quite the thing when I heard growling and barking coming from outside. I was like "Grrr, WTF?!" So I looked out my window to see Barney (my dog), my dad and another dog all tangled in a growly fluffy entanglement. So Dad took this other dog across the road to where he thought it lived but it wasn't that persons so we were all like, "Well what do we do?". Me and Dad took this gorgeous little Black lab pup for a walk round our bit, up to the football field (which was extremely dark and foggy and spooky. Me no likey) and then decided to take it back home. Dad phoned the police and someone had reported it missing so they came about 10 minutes later to take the wee dog home :) So that was the excitement for the other night. I realise that this is a completely random and pointless story but I wanted to post it anyhoo :)

I applied to ASDA and got a bloody rejection letter from them last week! How soul destroying, ASDA don't even want me. I'm not good enough for feekin ASDA! The employ every maddy under the sun but they don't want to 'process my application on this occasion'!!! WTF?! Maybe I'm too normal for them (no offence if you work for ASDA) lol, ach well. Shall try again in the future if I'm desperate for work :)

New-car-sle

Hey ho, well yesterday was a long day. Me, Dad and Murray headed down to Newcastle to get a Triumph Stag. We had one years ago when I was wee but had to sell it. Dad's been after another one ever since. So finally yesterday we got one. It's a minging shade of Yellow but I'm sure it'll be gorgeous after it's been restored. So we left the house at 5.30 in the morning! It was truly ridiculous. Set off and Dad was in his silly mood because he was getting a new toy to play with. We got down there at about 8.30 and got the car. It took what felt like an eternity to get it onto the trailer, but by 10ish it was done. We wrapped it up in a big polythene sheet, which was basically a complete waste of time. Half way up the freeway it started to come loose at the front and was at risk of blowing off and causing a 19 car pile up. I could just picture it. So we took it off when we got to Vicki's.

We had a really good time at Vicki's. The kids were great. Ewan was playing hide and seek with us for ages but he really hasn't grasped the concept of it yet. Whenever he heard Murray say Ready or not, he'd run out of his hiding place screaming "Boooooo!". It was so cute, and really quite funny. Olivia get more gorgeous every time that we see her. I don't know what happened to her dark hair but she's a wee blondie now, so cute. Phil brought his big bongo drum out and Ewan had a ball banging at it. Olivia was only really interested in the maracas. When we had to leave, Ewan wasn't too happy, but he perked up when Vicki said he could have a go on his bike after we'd left.

On the way back up the road, we stopped in at KFC and I got my 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' book which I've been after for ages. I'm kind of pissed that they've changed the name from 'Secret Dreamworld of...' but what can I do? So it was a good wee day and I can't wait to go back down and see them again.

Oh and what is with Roxy getting kicked off of Dancing on Ice?! Wrong decision people.

But hey, byeeee
