Woop Woop

Yey, my prom dress came! Like 10 minutes ago. I'd given up hope for today but then the nice, big, shiny, red ParcelForce van drew up outside and I was like, "Yey!".

Promward Bound

Yey, my prom dress is now somewhere in the UK. Some International Hub place. I've been tracking it for like the past 3 days, it's quite sad but I'm really excited about it so that kind of makes up for it. It should get here tomorrow hopefully :) I'm getting bored of waiting now, I need something else to focus on.

I finally handed in my ASDA application yesterday and posted off my audition confimation letter to Anniesland so we're gettin there slowly but surely, lol. So that's just a wee update for you and I will post again when I recieve La Gown :)

Number 6 - Down the drain

I told you I'd let you know when I'd broken one of my resolutions, so here we go. I've completely mashed Number 6-Eat Healthier to death. It's non-recognisable anymore, lol. I have had 2 Chinese's and an Indian since. I am ashamed of myself, well not really but I'll say it anyway. I kind of knew that one wouldn't last and what do you know? I was right, :P Oh well, shame, how sad. Well I've still got 6 left so we'll see how long they last.

More Belated Resolutions

Yes Yes, I'm about 2 months late in making resolutions, but that's only because I don't usually do them, and that's only because I never stick to them so why bother. But this year I've decided that so much has changed, I may as well give it a shot. So here goes. . .

. . .

1. Stick To Plans-Like I've already said a couple of posts down, I hardly ever stick to my plans, and most of the time they're good plans so I've decided to actually do something if I say I'm going to do it. (Resolutions included).

2. Get a Job - I'm in desperate need of a job. I have no money :( I left River Island because of my knee (well that was the easy get out, I actually just hated it) and haven't got a new job yet. I have instructed my Dad not to give me cash in hand and to put it straight into my account because I will just spend it on crap and not actually save up for anything. Which brings me swiftly to my next point.

3. Don't waste money - I have a tendency to spend my money on absolute rubbish or clothes that I like in the shop and then will probably never wear. This is probably because of the government's ingenious incentives to get people staying on at school i.e EMA's. I was never actually working to earn that money so I thought, "eh, just spend it", so I did. Not good. I'm now skint :( .

4. Learn to drive - I have an aim, my 18th. I want to be able to drive by my 18th birthday. I don't want to be one of these people that just drives on their provisional until it expires, so I'm going to aim to pass my test by my birthday (which is in December so I have no excuses).

5. Get into college - I've applied to Anniesland and the RSAMD but whether I get into either is a whole new ball game. I want to do something that I actually am interested in and not just settle for whatever's left.

6. Eat Healthier - I already eat relatively healthily anyway but I'm hoping to cut out the odd bit off goop that I do consume like fizz (she says whilst downing cherryade) and chocolate and stuff like that. Well maybe just cut down on it rather that cut it out completely.

7. OMG 7! What?! Anyway, yeh 7. Try New Things - While we were in Lanzarote, Dad and I went parascending, now this is very out of character for me but I really really enjoyed it. You actually feel like your flying. Last year my friend did it in Gran Canaria and said it was great, I said "You're a nutter, only nutter's do stuff like that", so behold Freya, the nutter :)

8. Seriously, 8? OK, Save the Rainforest, lol. Kidding. 8. Yeh I got nothing, I think I'm done. Oh by the way these aren't in order of importance or anything, just in order of how they came to me :)

A dance a day. . .

Well I've got my audition date through for Anniesland so I'll need to get myself ready for that.

I'm just back from the primary school and I was talking to the depute head. She's been trying to find ideas for the new Friday Fun block and she's giving me my own slot to have a dance group! So I get a group of kids and we basically dance around and have fun for 45 minutes every friday afternoon! It'll be great experience and I'll have a head start in the teaching of kids, which is part of the course I've applied for. I'm really looking forward to it, I'll keep you updated :)

Moving Forward

Eek! I got my provisional driving licence through on Saturday!!! I can now legally be behind the wheel of a car, what's with that?! It's truly scary, but exciting at the same time :) And yesterday I applied to college (cue the second 'Eek!'). I've applied to Anniesland college to do HNC Dance and I'm applying to the RSAMD to do Musical Theatre and Applied Arts. So yeah. Just a little update on what going on at le momente :)

A Belated Resolution.

OK, I tend to say I'm going to do things but very rarely follow through with them. So I've decided if I say I'm going to do something, I'm going to do it. No IF's or BUT's. Starting with Summer, me and Stacy are going to Ireland. We've been saying we'll do it for, I don't know, about 4 years!!! So this summer, we're bound for the Emerald Isle. I thought I'd just post this to put it in writing, and although it's not legally binding or anything like that, it gives me the incentive to get off my arse and fecking move it, so there we go. We're going to Ireland and that's that :)
